Circulate 2018 - Liberty Unbound

On Friday 31 August we were delighted to host Liberty Unbound organised by Circulate London and the Mayor of London. The festival included the following performances: The Iron Man is the size of a double-decker bus in this walkabout performance by Graeae, the UK’s leading deaf and disability theatre company. Paul Sirett’s adaption of Ted Hughes’ children’s story crackles with excitement. Amit Sharma directs. The kids will love it. Dedicated To is a new dance piece from Candoco, a company of disabled and non-disabled dancers. Caroline Bowditch’s moving duet celebrates female strength, friendships and support. It explores how people come in and out of our lives and how friendships shape who we are. Deaf Rave was founded by Troi Lee in 2003 as a quarterly event in London for deaf clubbers. Fifteen years on, the company’s club music events have many fans beyond the deaf community. They’ll present several DJ sets at each event. Prepare yourself to dance!
