Based in Edmonton & Enfield, London, Millfield Arts Centre(Edmonton) & the Dugdale Centre(Enfield Town) are multi-use performing arts venues with a strong focus on working with diverse communities along side our established professional programme.
As a key player in the team, the post holder will provide high quality technical management (including lighting, sound, AV and stage management) and maintenance for all our venues and equipment.You will deliver a consistently high standard of service to visiting artists and other venue users, and using safe working procedures at all times to contribute to the venues reputation as friendly and welcoming Theatres.
This role is ideally suited to a multi-talented technician with experience of people, financial and production management.You will have a proven record of punctuality, attention to detail, outstanding organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing environments.
The role is for a fixed term whilst we recruit a permanent replacement for the vacant post. We actively encourage individuals who are interested in the permanent role.
Pay £500 per week based on a 36 hour working week, additional hours paid at single time.

Front Of House Assistants
Our Front Of House team welcome our customers to the venue and help our customers with what they need, whether that is purchasing a ticket for a show, booking in a meeting or conference on our venue management system, helping to set up a conference or meeting or giving the customer information. If you like to work with the public, are good at working with IT systems and enjoy working within a cultural environment then this could be the role for you.
Bar and Catering Assistants
Our cafe team prepares and serves a range of food and beverages to our customer throughout the day and during shows and events at Millfield Theatre. If you love working with food and drink and enjoy working with the public then this could be the role for you.

Our Technical team sets up and operates the Sound, Lighting and Stage Management of shows and events at Millfield Theatre. If you love technology and enjoy working backstage at a show or event then this could be the role for you.

At Millfield Theatre we have a dedicated team of volunteers who help us on show evenings, helping us to deliver first-class customer service.
The duties of a Customer Services Volunteer involve:
- Greeting and assisting our patrons on their visit to the theatre
- Ushering the audience in the auditorium and checking tickets
- Selling sweets, ice creams, drinks and merchandise and helping out with cloakroom duties
We are looking for people who are willing to help others, who have good verbal communication skills and enjoy working as part of the team. We also request that you are able to commit to, at least, two shifts every six weeks.
