Millfield Theatre sits in a beautiful parkland setting and has served its local community with a high-quality programme of shows, classes and workshops for over 35 years.
The theatre is famous throughout Enfield and wider North London for providing high-quality and varied entertainment. The Sir Bruce Forsyth Auditorium seats up to 362 and plays host to a rich annual programme of professional shows that includes drama, dance, musicals, comedy, cabaret, variety, popular music and children's theatre.
Millfield Theatre is renowned for its annual traditional pantomime - the theatre's largest production which runs for 6 weeks over the Christmas period undertaking over 60 performances, including 24 specifically for local schools. Aladdin is the production for 2016.
Artists who have performed at the theatre over the years include; Chas and Dave, Ballet, Black, Georgie Fame, Stephen K. Amos, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Searchers, Russell Howard, Omid Djalili, Des O'Connor, The Three Degrees, Joe Brown, Mica Paris, The Manfreds, The Blues Band, Marty Wilde, Janet Kay, The Vienna Festival Ballet and n Daniels to name but a few.
The magnificent Millfield House, a Grade II listed Georgian mansion, also resides in the park, offering rehearsal, meeting, office and workshop space for hire.
A vibrant and friendly venue, Millfield House and Theatre host productions by local amateur theatre companies and local dance schools, making a unique and vital contribution to the local arts community.
