For this week's Throwback Thursday we thought we would share a few old photos of the Millfield Theatre site.

First are the Millfield gates decorated for the coronation of King George V (1911)

and then a photo showing the workhouse buildings on the site of the theatre (no date).

Notice the small building by the gates & the curved wall (bottom left corner) which are still there now.
