Circulate London: Two-Year Artist Residency - applications open!
Applications are now open for artists and companies to develop and tour a new piece of outdoor work to the Circulate network, as part of a two-year residency to develop audiences.
Circulate is an Outer London touring network for Outdoor Arts, developed by a consortium of Outer London venues - Watermans in Hounslow, The Albany in Deptford, Millfield Theatre in Enfield and Stratford Circus in Newham, with the Independent Street Arts Network and Mayor of London.
The Consortium plans have been supported by a grant from the Arts Council England's Strategic Touring Programme for a period of three years from April 1st 2016.
The Circulate programme will deliver a series of 3 tours per year, with every production visiting each of the 4 venue partners'locations.
These 'Attached Artist'residencies will create a more substantial and longer term connection between each artist and their host venue. Venues will provide a simple, one-stage commission to each artist to produce a new piece of work and tour it to the four venues of the Circulate network.
